Faculty & Staff

Dr. Linus Igbokwe is originally from New Orleans, Louisiana.  He received his Bachelor’s of Science degree from Xavier University Of Louisiana and matriculated to Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.  He recently became a board-certified Family Medicine physician and is now completing his fellowship training at the American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, Alabama under the leadership of Dr. Ortega.  Dr. Igbokwe is excited about his year of training and being able to serve the University of West Alabama.

In addition to his professional pursuits, Dr. Igbokwe enjoys staying fit through calisthenics, playing basketball, and learning about nature.
