Dr. Kyle Planchard, originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, attended Louisiana State University where he received a B.S. degree in biology. He went on to study medicine at UT Southwestern medical school. He then completed orthopedic surgery residency at Ochsner in New Orleans, LA. He is currently training as an orthopedic surgery sports medicine fellow at the American Sports Medicine Institute (ASMI) in Birmingham under the leadership of Dr. Andrews, Cain, Dugas, and Emblom. He enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter and has a passion for college football.
