Taylor Ramsey begins her third year as an athletic trainer/instructor while continuing her primary responsibility of providing athletic training services to the UWA Women’s Basketball and Cheerleading teams. Taylor is an instructor in the undergraduate Athletic Training and Physical Education programs. She previously worked as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at UWA and completed her Master of Science in Physical Education with an Athletic Training concentration in the summer of 2022. In 2021, Taylor graduated from Heidelberg University in Tiffin, OH with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. During her time at Heidelberg, she gained AT experience working with varsity sports, local high schools, local health care centers, and the Ohio National Guard. She earned her athletic training certification in the spring of 2021 and a Sports Manual Therapy Certification in July of 2023.  Taylor is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association, the Southeast Athletic Trainers’ Association, and the Alabama Athletic Trainers’ Association. She represents the ALATA executive council as the Early Career Professionals Committee Chairman.
